Also, make sure to check the radar on your weather app. or favorite website for radar. Forecasts NEVER go as forecasted so "believe it when you see it". Rain has ran off enough to let carts out. Come on out to the 'Hills!
Due to scheduling conflicts (and weather), the $10,000 shoot out is rescheduled to June 28 at 6 PM. While we don’t like to reschedule events, we have another 2 weeks of qualification. So, come out to The Hills, play a round of golf and get your name on the board for your chance to win $10,000.
Who wants to win some money? You? Good. Forest Hills has been sponsored for a $10,000 Hole-in-One challenge, that will be held (hopefully, it's on you) on a regular occurrence.
Tentatively (the sponsor has never held a golf event before and stuff happens) the shootout is June 13th at 3pm. That means you have 5 days to get your qualifying shot verified. Here are the rules: 1: You have to pay/play for a regular 9 or 18 (Non-League play, you guys are scratch anyway) and be within the TOP 50 closest to the hole (June 9-13) on #9. *Measurement rules will be posted in the clubhouse* 2: Play the days leading up to the shootout and sign in/verify eligibility. You have as many chances as you choose as long as you play 9 holes (or 18, that's 2). 3: There is no extra fee to enter, just be a dead-eye and play golf. 4: Show up on the day of the actual shootout and, well, ace it. 5: $1 Spectator fee for the Main Event. 6*: **There will be a shooter's luncheon, dogs/burgers and more. Not actually a rule BUT, there *could* be a lunch for everyone in attendance, if given advanced notice as a spectator, based on turn out. With the start to the season being held back by weather, that we may have finally broken through, Forest Hills looks forward to seeing all the long time customers return and any and all new customers also. We're continuing our "no tee times necessary...first come first served" policy for reservations. At present, we have only a Thursday evening league that might get in the way of your plans of coming out. Yet, feel free to call for any extra info you might need. Our Ladies Day (Tuesday) and Senior Day (Wednesday) will not be the only promotions ran so try to check back for any changes. Come out to the 'Hills!
Forest Hills is resetting to its fall pricing as it did last year and will be as follows: with the cart fee per person included, weekday rates will be $14 for 9 holes and $20 for 18. Weekend rates are $16 for 9 and $22 for 18 (must be 18 and graduated for cart rental). Come on out to the 'Hills before the weather closes you out. Remember, no tee times necessary, first come, first served.
